Code of Conduct Development

Codes of conduct, and associated policies, provide a series of standards to which organisations can expect staff to adhere. Codes of conduct can be written in a way that reflect the values of the organisation and provide a guide for the appropriate behaviour of both management and staff. They may also be used to influence, and in some cases, enforce the culture of a workplace.  Raising Standards can work with you to develop a code of conduct for your business that is an intrinsic element of human resource management and a benchmark to assess behavior in and out of the workplace.

Grievance and Complaints Management

Raising Standards can offer two separate but related complaints management services which can be adapted to your requirements.
We can develop internal and external complaints management processes which sit within your organisation and use your existing staff infrastructure to manage.  This includes training and coaching staff to ensure complaints are given a timely and appropriate response.  Training and coaching of staff is also available to increase skills in responding to angry and disgruntled clients and customers. This training includes follow-up sessions to monitor the effectiveness of training.

Alternatively, with the right structure in place, the management of complaints can be outsourced to Raising Standards. This means that complaints are directed to Raising Standards which investigates the matter and co-ordinates the appropriate response.

Internal and External Compliance Management

Many businesses and organisations these days are required to meet audit or compliance standards. This work is often draining on staff, but necessary to keep business in operation and to rise above the competition.  Raising Standards can assist with the development of internal structures to ensure that audit and compliance measures are established, tracked and measured.

Client Relationship Building

Businesses, including retail outlets, wishing to increase sales can benefit from paying attention to the way in which its staff respond to, and interact with clients.  Raising Standards can tailor a client relationship training package which can include an unannounced visit to your place of business to assess staff client and customer relationship skills.  The findings of this assessment then form the basis of a customised training and skills development package designed to increase sales.

Accreditation Standards Coaching

Raising Standards can provide coaching for staff whose role is to ensure that accreditation standards are met. This entails working closely with staff to map out which standards they want to meet and how they can reach them.

Meeting and Process Facilitation

Many organisations have the need for outside facilitation of internal and external meetings and processes. Raising Standards can facilitate one-off meetings and events, or an ongoing process involving groups and multiple participants. Process facilitation includes designing and delivering a course of action to address complex situations.  This facilitation requires a series of meetings and consultations to engage all parties and achieve a successful outcome.

Professional Coaching, Supervision and Mentoring

Coaching, supervision and mentoring are three different ways of working with individuals and groups to achieve goals and improve outcomes. Raising Standards can provide these services to people in and outside of the workplace so that performance and well-being are enhanced and enriched.

Board, Team and Individual Performance Reviews

Reviewing the performance of organisations, boards, teams, managers and staff is part of a continual improvement process in which responsible organisations engage. They allow reflection with a view to identifying areas of strength and potential for growth. Raising Standards can tailor a performance review process to the needs of your organisation, including ongoing support and coaching to optimise identified strengths and maximise opportunities for growth.

Workplace Investigations

Most organisations at some time will receive an internal or external complaint about the conduct of a member of staff or management. The nature of some complaints requires investigation by an independent person outside the organisation to ensure there is no conflict of interest and to ensure objectivity.  Raising Standards has the capacity to undertake investigations and provide a series of recommendations on the findings.
